Internship program for PQHRM students

Background;

The Internship program for IPM Students will be launched in conjunction with achieving the objective of: “Uplifting the standard of PQHRM student profile” which was planned at beginning of current Council year. This program will provide opportunities for IPM Students to undergo a rigorous internship in Sri Lanka’s top multinational companies and local blue-chip organizations, exposing students to the practical aspects of key areas in Human Resource Management and Development.

This unique opportunity will be granted to 20 Students for a period of six months. Those who have completed PQHRM stage 2 will be entitled for same. Each of the relevant students will be given Rs. 10,000 /- as an allowance per month. In this context the IPM would bear 50% of the cost and the respective organization will bear the rest of the expenses.

Each of the respective Companies will also spend accordingly; fourteen [14] multinational & local companies have been earmarked and duly approached.

Mode of Contract- Internship signed by individual with IPM & Seconded to organization with a contract between IPM and organization
